1966 GMC K1500 4x4 - Sutphen Fire Truck Upfit, Fully Refurbished, Numbers Matching ! This beautifully restored 1966 GMC K1500 is a rare and historically significant example, originally upfitted by Sutphen Fire Trucks for use by Miami Township Fire and EMS. When new, a unique agreement was made: once the department retired the truck, it would be returned to the owner of Sutphen. True to that promise, the truck made its way back and was later completely refinished under his care. Finished in striking red with a fully refurbished interior, this K1500 retains its numbers-matching 305 V6 paired to a manual transmission and 4x4 drivetrain. The truck shows its original miles and presents as a piece of both GMC and American fire service history. This is more than a restored classic - it's a documented story of craftsmanship, service, and preservation. A true collector's piece that's turn-key and ready to show, drive, or proudly display.
